Detour Coffee Roasters

My wonderful wife ordered these beans for me after Kahve shared some good roasters that were offering free shipping on coffee during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Some of the best stuff I’ve ever tasted! The Detour Dark is a strong contender for favourite coffee right now. It smells delicious and is very smooth for a dark roast.

Matchstick Coffee Roasters

I tried this place a while ago and didn’t think much of it. Sometimes I would poke my head in while Ju was next door looking at fabrics. Lately though, it’s become a staple at home.

The Bulldog No. 33 is a highlight, with a rich, smokey taste. I started going to the Yaletown location regularly with K Nielsen, who seems to appreciate the finer things as well!

Bought first bag as a birthday present for Stie, which he then highly recommended back to me. Got the medium roast, and it is perfection. Will continue getting this for the time being… :)

Roasting Beans from India!

First time pan-roasting beans in the oven and it turned out… pretty weird! Like it tasted good, but had an unusual aroma. The process was fun tho, even if it filled the house with some smoke.
